Nya's Background :

Nya is the Water Ninja :
In
Ninjago: Seabound,
Nya's heroic sacrifice leads her to merge with the endless sea. This transformative decision was made to save
Ninjago City from massive flooding and to rescue a drowning
Jay. Furthermore, in this new form, she wields control over the entire ocean, capable of manifesting a giant water dragon. During
Seabound,
Nya merges her physical form with the
Endless Sea to defeat the spirit of the storm,
Wojira. This results to
Nya to be pure water, and she could no longer exist on land for extended periods.
Nya Is Damaged :
Eventually as living in the ocean, Nya begins to lose her memories and personal identity. Nonetheless, with help from the ancient water warrior Nyad and the ninja, Nya is eventually able to regain her sense of self. Moreover she finds a path back to her human form with the help of the sorceress Aspheera. Therefore, with powers gone, she retakes her old mantle as Samurai X. Beyond, time Nya's elemental abilities eventually begin to resurface. Above all, this experience reshapes her role on the team, forcing to rely on intellect while grappling to restore.
