The Fangpyre were one of the five Serpentine Tribes, recognizable by their Red Scales and Dual-Headed appearance. Beyond their Venomous Fangs, their primary ability was the power to transform victims into a Serpentine form of themselves through a single bite. The Tribe's Fangs contained an infectious Venom that could even bring Inanimate objects to life. The core motive of the Fangpyre, manipulated by Pythor, was to find the Four Fang Blades to awaken the Great Devourer and take revenge on the people of Ninjago. The Fangpyre and the Serpentine, mistakenly believed they could control the Great Devourer and use it as an Ultimate Weapon to rule Ninjago. The Serpentine were forced to abandon their plan and hide. Whereas the Great Devourer proved uncontrollable, and threatened to consume everything, including Snakes.
