The Constrictai are a Serpentine Tribe capable of restricting their enemies with immense physical strength.  The Constrictai Tribe's primary intention was to escape their tomb and reunite with the other Serpentine Tribes to exact revenge on the humans who imprisoned them.  Once freed, Led by General Skalidor, the Constrictai ally with Pythor to search for the Fang Blades needed to awaken the Great Devourer.  The Constrictai are recognized for their strength and ability to burrow, leading to surprise attacks.  During the "Rise of the Snakes" Season, the Serpentine's collective motive was to awaken the Great Devourer and use it to consume Ninjago City as an act of vengeance.
