Further, Bytar's main strength lies in his immense brute force, which he uses to great effect in tail wrestling and combat. Bytar's physical power makes him a formidable opponent for his General, Skalidor. Notably, Bytar's temperament is aggressive and boorish; he is a bully who is always ready for a fight. Nevertheless, Bytar's physical strength is a serious threat, his limited intellect leaves him outsmarted by the ninja.

Bytar has distinctive orange spikes running down the top of his head, contrasting with the silver ones found on, Skalidor. In addition, Bytar's left eye is almost entirely covered by scaly skin, representing a battle injury. Bytar has yellow eyes and visible white fangs, completing his intimidating reptile-like visage. Bytar's Role :
Bytar's interactions with his own tribe, the Constrictai, are based on a clear power hierarchy with General Skalidor in command. As the warrior, Bytar follows Skalidor's orders and works alongside other Constrictai members such as soldier Chokun and the scout Snike. The Constrictai Tribe follow the schemes of the Serpentine Leader, Pythor. Bytar and other Tribe members, assist in battles against the ninjas Kai, Jay, Zane, and Cole. Moreover, Bytar temporarily aligns with Lord Garmadon, agreeing to follow him as he takes control of the Serpentine with the Mega Weapon.
Bytar's Evolution :
During the "Rise of the Serpentine", Bytar and the Constrictai are antagonists, fighting the ninja during their search for the Fangblades. However, Bytar's aggression is his downfall, as the ninja use their wits to get the better of him. The Serpentine's role evolves from villains to occasional allies, and Bytar fights alongside the ninja. Overall, Skales leads the Serpentine and assists the ninjas against the Anacondrai Cultists.
