While possessing Lord Garmadon, The Overlord mutates his host's body into a larger, clawed, and demonic version before returning to his monstrous Black Dragon form. Appearing shadowy, armored in the Digiverse who can control a huge, purple, tentacled monster made of ash. Notably, The Overlord's final and most powerful physical form, is The Crystal King. The Crystal King has a centaur-like beast of solid gray stone, with four crystal wings, a golden chest-plate, and a black face with horns and tusks.

Lego The Overlord Minifigure Role :
The Overlord's primary role in Ninjago is to act as the ultimate force of evil, seeking to destroy the balance between light and darkness. However, he is the First Spinjitzu Master's arch-nemesis, and later, Lloyd Garmadon's. As the source of all evil, he orchestrates much of the conflict in Ninjago from the shadows, manipulating other villains and events to his advantage. Nevertheless, The Overlord survives multiple defeats by coming back in new forms, such as becoming a computer virus and possessing digital systems. His ultimate goal is to eliminate all hope and establish himself as the supreme ruler of a dark and lifeless realm.

Lego The Overlord Minifigure Motive :
A central figure in The Overlord's schemes is Lloyd Garmadon, the Green Ninja and grandson of the First Spinjitzu Master. As the descendant of his greatest enemy, Lloyd and his Golden Power are a consistent target for him. Another key antagonist and pawn is Lloyd's father, Garmadon, who is corrupted as a child by the Great Devourer, secretly influenced by The Overlord. Beyond he manipulates and possesses Garmadon to regain his physical form in the final battle against Lloyd.
Lego The Overlord Minifigure Destruction :
The Overlord interacts with a wide range of characters throughout his various resurrections and schemes. In his second arc, he works with the Serpentine General Pythor, whom he respects for his vile intellect. Hence to achieve his digital form, he possesses Cyrus Borg through his cybernetic limbs, controlling the technological expert. Also commanding the Nindroid Army and manipulates Cyrus Borg's assistant P.I.X.A.L.. Later, as the Crystal King, he recruits a Council of the Crystal King to do his bidding, which includes Pythor, Aspheera, Vangelis, the Mechanic, and Mister F.
Lego The Overlord's Minifigure Final Stand :
The Overlord's most crucial and complex interaction is with Harumi, who initially believes the Ninjas are responsible for her parents' defeat. He resurrects Harumi as a loyal second-in-command, promising her a peaceful world under his dark rule. However, Harumi ultimately turns against him when she discovers The Overlord is the one who corrupted the Great Devourer. Therefore he appears to be the cause of Harumi's parent's defeat. Further he also confronts Master Wu, to mock him and the legacy of his father, the First Spinjitzu Master. Overall, he fights the ninjas Kai, Jay, Cole, and Zane, who are often corrupted by his dark power.
