LEGO Harumi Minifigure Background :
LEGO Harumi Minifigure, also known as the "
Quiet One" and the "
Jade Princess," has a challenging past and a crucial role in
Ninjago. Initially introduced as a
potential ally and
love interest for
Lloyd, her true
identity as a criminal mastermind drives major plot points across
Several Seasons. Her journey, from a
victim of the
Great Devourer to a powerful
Villain and eventually a redeemed character, sees her interacting with a vast number of individuals across
Ninjago City and beyond.
LEGO Harumi Minifigure Appearance :
Harumi has a unique physical appearance that shifts with her various personas. As the Princess, she wears an elegant green kimono, a white cape with red trim, a golden headpiece, and traditional kabuki makeup. In her civilian disguise, she opts for a dark green hood, and her white hair styled in a bun with chopsticks. As the villainous "Quiet One" she wears black clothing, with a white hair piece and red face paint around her eyes.
Harumi's Role :
Harumi plays a
critical role in the series as a
primary antagonist who challenges the
Ninja on both physical and emotional levels. She forms and leads the
Sons of Garmadon, a powerful criminal organization, with the singular goal of
resurrecting Lord Garmadon's evil self. She successfully executes this plan, bringing chaos to
Ninjago City and forcing the
Ninja to adapt to a world ruled by
Garmadon.
Harumi's actions directly impact
Lloyd's character arc,
traumatizing him and forcing him to confront his own inner
darkness. Her later
betrayal of the
Overlord and subsequent redemption provide a
powerful narrative about second chances and the
struggle between
good and evil.

Harumi's Interactions :
Throughout her time in
Ninjago,
Harumi interacts with a wide array of characters. Her most significant interaction is with
Lloyd Garmadon, the
Green Ninja, whom she
manipulates as a
love interest, only to later become his
archenemy and
eventual ally. She also interacts with the
Ninja Team:
Kai, Nya, Cole, Zane, and Jay, often working
against them until her final
redemption.
The
Members of the
Sons of Garmadon are:
Skip Vicious, Mohawk, Luke Cunningham, Nails, and Chopper Maroon. Harumi led her
Generals in the
Sons of Garmadon (
Mr. E, Killow, and Ultra Violet) and later assembles the
Council of the
Crystal King (
Pythor, Aspheera, Vangelis, The Mechanic, and
Mister F) under the
Overlord. Other characters
Harumi interacts with include her
adoptive parents, the
Emperor and Empress of Ninjago, and her caretaker,
Hutchins, all of whom she
manipulates and ultimately causes their demise.
Harumi's Journey :
She has a complicated relationship with
Lord Garmadon, whom she
idolizes and
resurrects, serving as his advisor until she abandons him in a moment of
fear.
Harumi also crosses paths with other figures, such as
Misako (
Lloyd's mother),
Master Wu (
as a baby and later as an adult),
Skylor,
P.I.X.A.L., and various members of the
Ninjago Police and the
Resistance. Her
character's journey is defined by her interactions with the
Ninja, their allies, and the Villains. These relationships highlight her skill at
manipulation and her lasting impact on the
story.
Avatar Harumi :
In Season 12: Prime Empire, Harumi's role was as a digital avatar created by the main villain, Unagami, to be the final boss. She still had her same white hairstyle and wore an orange jumpsuit. The avatar mirrored the real Harumi's manipulative personality but did not possess all of her genuine memories. She first interacted with Lloyd, when he volunteered to fight the final boss, tricking him into a false sense of sympathy. She lied to Lloyd, claiming she was sorry for her past actions to gain an advantage in their fight for the orange Key-Tana. Lloyd realized she was not the real Harumi when she could not remember specific details about their time together, such as what they did on their first night alone: (given food to the poor in the canals). After Lloyd exposed her deception, they traded final blows in the game's arena. Avatar Harumi was defeated by Lloyd and dissolved, but not before costing him his last in-game life and turning him into an energy cube.
