The Lego Echo Zane Minifigure is a Nindroid, which Dr. Julien builds. He's a replica of Zane, Dr. Julien's creation, and plays a unique role in the Ninjago: Skybound Season. Echo Zane's appearance strongly mirrors Zane's blueprints but with a rusty and copper-colored body. In addition, to a wind-up power source instead of an energy core, and a less advanced internal build from salvaged parts. Lego Echo Zane Minifigure, has gold hair, despite having rusty brown hair in the show. Nevertheless, Echo Zane's appearance highlights his neglected existence on Lighthouse Island, as he lives in isolation.
Lego Echo Zane Minifigure Role :
Echo Zane's role begins the Skybound storyline, as he aids the Ninja's rescue efforts. Jay and Nya discover him in a Secret Basement passage on the Island, and he quickly forms a friendship with them. Furthermore, Echo Zane has unique abilities, having long-range sensors to help prepare traps and defend the Lighthouse against the Sky Pirates. He overpowers multiple Pirates, showing determination comparable to Zane's, before falling apart in a confrontation with Nadakhan.
Echo Zane's Journey :
Following his initial defeat, Echo Zane, with assistance from his small Nindroid friend Tai-D, rebuilds himself. Moreover, Echo Zane joins Jay's "Replacement Ninja" Team, which includes: Dareth, Ronin, Skylor, and Captain Soto. The mission requires Jay's Team to find Kai, Cole, Zane, Lloyd, Wu, P.I.X.A.L., and Misako. He participates to help retrieve the Djinn Blade from the Djinjago, actively helping the team combat the Sky Pirates. Echo Zane, eventually encounters his brother, Zane, after the Ninja are released from the Djinn Blade. Jay's final wish erases the Skybound timeline, meaning Echo Zane never meets the Ninja.
Echo Zane's Interactions:
Echo Zane interacts with a limited amount of characters throughout the Skybound Season. He builds a friendship with Jay and Nya upon their arrival at the Lighthouse. Additionally, Echo Zane encounters the Sky Pirates, including: Nadakhan, Clancee, Doubloon, Bucko, and Sqiffy. Ultimately, Echo Zane maintains a lasting friendship with the small Nindroid Tai-D.
