Background :
LEGO Fire Fang, is a, giant, male Serpentine snake creature featured in Season 11 of Ninjago: Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu. Aspheera, the Season's primary antagonist, magically summoned the snake from the lava within her pyramid using Kai's stolen Fire Powers. She then rode Fire Fang to attack Ninjago City, seeking revenge on Master Wu, the "Treacherous Deceiver" by scent. Serving as Aspheera's powerful and loyal mount, transport, and a living weapon, it represents a major threat, to cause destructive damage with the Element of Fire. Members of the Pyro Vipers, include: Char, Pyro Slayers, Pyro Destroyers, and Pyro Whippers.
Appearance :
Visually, Fire Fang's appearance is a massive, cobra-like snake with a striking design. Its body displays colors of orange, red, black, and dark red. The Fire Fang's most notable physical features include a large, head with an opening mouth that shoots flame elements in its toy form, and a tail that rattles and can fire studs as projectiles. A small throne for Aspheera sits on its back, highlighting its primary role as a transportation for the sorceress.
Interactions :
A living weapon that batters the Monastery gates and engages the Ninja in direct combat. The creature serves a symbolic purpose, too; Kai must confront Fire Fang to reclaim his Elemental Powers, showing the Ninja's struggle to overcome the challenges presented by their past mistakes. The giant snake interacts with several key characters throughout its appearances. Its primary relationship is with its Creator and Master, Aspheera, who commands the creature using her staff and the Scroll of Forbidden Spinjitzu. The other Pyro Vipers, including the Char, Pyro Slayers, Pyro Destroyers, and Pyro Whippers all interact with Fire Fang. The Ninja directly battle the creature; Nya attempts to stop its advance with her Water Powers, and Lloyd briefly jumps onto its back during a battle.
Journey :
Fire Fang's existence continues beyond, within the book Quest for the Lost Powers. After Aspheera's defeat, the Fire Fang retreated to a cave near the Lake of Fire. Kai and Skylor journey to the cave, ultimately defeating the serpent together to retrieve Kai's lost Powers.
