Background :
LEGO Pyro Slayers, are a group of recurring, minor antagonists appearing primarily in the "Fire Chapter" of Ninjago: Season 11: Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu. They are not individual characters; they are part of the Pyro Vipers army, who are the main villains of the Season. Aspheera, their Leader, resurrected them from their mummified state in an ancient pyramid using stolen Fire Powers from Kai. Their primary role in the narrative involves following Aspheera's commands, participating in battles, and serving as a force, opposing the Ninja. The Pyro Slayers represent Aspheera's power and her ancient grudge against Master Wu.
Appearance :
In terms of appearance, the Pyro Slayers look similar to their mummified state, with a separate coloration. Originally their appearance as Hypnobrai was blue with dark gray bodies and yellow accents. The Pyro Slayer's eyes were red with circle patterns used for hypnosis. They had a cobra hood. In Season 11: their appearance changes (Pyro Viper Form) with there scales turning to a brown or tan color, their eyes are a glowing orange or red, and flames run along the sides of their neck. They are nearly identical to the other sub-faction, the Pyro Destroyers; the main difference being that the Slayers do not wear the dark orange shoulder armor that the Destroyers use.
Interactions :
The Pyro Slayers interact with several key characters throughout their appearances. They mainly take orders from Aspheera, who controls them completely. The secondary antagonist they serve alongside is Char, a black-scaled Serpentine who acts as Aspheera's advisor. The Members of the Pyro Vipers army include: Pyro Destroyers, Pyro Whippers, and Fire Fang. Pyro Slayers encounter the Ninja Team: Cole, Jay, Kai, Lloyd, Nya, P.I.X.A.L., and Zane. They first appear as reanimated mummies in the Desert of Doom pyramid, attacking the Ninja as they search for the Scroll of Forbidden Spinjitzu. When Aspheera attacks the Monastery of Spinjitzu, actively seeking out Master Wu the Pyro Slayers help their Leader exact revenge. They also had historical interactions in flashbacks, witnessing the overthrow of their original Leader King Mambo V, and briefly fighting young Master Wu and Garmadon.

With Aspheera captive and the Fire Powers she stole from Kai restored, the Pyro Slayers revert to inanimate mummified corpses, ending their threat. The Pyro Slayers are antagonists whose presence is a direct result of past mistakes made by Wu and Garmadon. Their role highlights the Season's primary themes of ancient secrets and the consequences of past actions.
