LEGO Mystake Minifigure, was an ancient, powerful female Oni who chose to protect the realm of Ninjago, disguising herself as a seemingly grumpy yet wise elderly tea shop owner. Originally one of the three Oni Warlords dispatched to destroy the First Spinjitzu Master, she had a change of heart after witnessing the beauty of the new world he created, turning against her own kind and fighting alongside him. For millennia, she hid in plain sight, using her tea shop as a front, all the while assisting the First Spinjitzu Master's descendants with her vast wisdom and potent teas, which include Traveler's Tea to the Tea of Truth. Her pivotal role became clear during the "Oni Trilogy" when she directly aided the Ninja in their fight against the Sons of Garmadon and the resurrected Lord Garmadon.
LEGO Mystake Minifigure Appearance :
In her human disguise, Mystake appeared as an elderly woman, with gray hair in a bun, often wearing a light brown zip-up sweater and a conical hat. However, her true form was a terrifying, Oni, resembling Lord Garmadon's original corrupted design but with specific differences, including, prominent fangs, and unique facial markings with purple eyes. As an Oni, she wielded the Element of Destruction, Oni Sorcery, exceptional strength and shapeshifting abilities, which allowed her to transform into a rat or even mimic Harumi's appearance. She maintained her human facade for thousands of years, a testament to her mastery over her powers and her commitment to remaining hidden.
Mystake's Role :
Mystake's primary role centered on preserving the balance of Ninjago and providing crucial knowledge about the realm's ancient history, especially concerning the Oni and Dragons. She acted as a secretive mentor figure to Master Wu and later the Ninja, offering mysterious advice and magical solutions when they faced overwhelming odds. For instance, Mystake gave the Wu and Nya Tomorrow's Tea to revert their ages (while they where children) to their past selves and gave Master Wu, Obscuritea to erase his own memory and prevent time alterations. Her ultimate sacrifice came during the battle against the Garmadon, where she revealed her true form to buy Skylor time to escape and copy Garmadon's power, an act that ultimately led to Garmadon's temporary defeat. The power Skylor copied was later used to temporarily take control of the Colossus.
Mystake's Interactions :
Throughout the series, Mystake interacted with numerous characters, largely through their visits to her tea shop. She most notably interacted with Master Wu, her long-time acquaintance, and the Ninja Team: Kai, Cole, Jay, Zane, and Nya. During the "Oni Trilogy," she spent significant time with Lloyd Garmadon, explaining his heritage and motivating him to lead the Resistance. Other characters she directly interacted with include Lord Garmadon (whom she ultimately fought in her last battle), Skylor, Dareth, Misako, the Anacondrai General Arcturus (during a council meeting), and the villain Harumi, whose form she once mimicked.

She demonstrated wisdom similar to Master Wu's and a fierce bravery in protecting the world she grew to love.
