Nevertheless, their role as powerful, loyal soldiers highlights the theme of how power can corrupt and control. As they follow Lord Garmadon and later, Dareth commands them.
Stone Swordsmen's Strengthen :
The Swordsmen's appearance is not merely cosmetic; it directly impacts the plot. As their statue is reanimated in the museum by the Great Devourer's venom, it marks the return of the ancient evil. This giant, four-armed Stone Warrior, a larger and more powerful version, sets the stage for the escalating conflict that follows. Later, the Stone Army are resurrected on the Day of the Departed, having the same appearance. They mainly interact with their commanding officers and the ninja, serving as the grunts in major battles. Additionally, showing allegiance to their creator, The Overlord, and to anyone who holds the Helmet of Shadows, including General Kozu and Lord Garmadon. Dareth also interacts directly with them during "The Final Battle" and "Day of the Departed," while using the Helmet of Shadows. Notably, the Swordsmen are primary antagonists fighting Kai, Cole, Jay, Zane, and Lloyd on the Island of Darkness.
Stone Swordsmen's Fall :
Their loyalty first lay with their creator, The Overlord, and then with Lord Garmadon after he donned the Helmet of Shadows. They battled against the First Spinjitzu Master in ancient times and clash repeatedly with the ninjas. Stone Swordsmen turn on General Kozu and fought against The Overlord after Dareth took control. On the Day of the Departed, some Swordsmen and General Kozu sought revenge on Dareth.
