Lego Tai-D, is a small, wheeled assistance robot "Gizmo," who holds a charming minor role in Ninjago. Dr. Julien built him and serves as a faithful companion and helper. The robot's physical appearance is simple, featuring a small stature and a design centered around utility.
Tai-D helps alleviate Dr. Julien's loneliness, highlighting the robot's role beyond simple assistant. Furthermore, Tai-D is capable of cleaning and serving tea. Nevertheless, his design choices clearly expresses a gentle, helpful nature.
Lego Tai-D Role :
Whereas Lego Tai-D is a brick-built robot, not a standard minifigure. His color scheme primarily uses dark gray and yellow pieces, and has light blue eyes. Lego Tai-D, features a black helmet with goggles on the top. Furthermore, Tai-D's came in only one Set 70594, which is "The Lighthouse Siege".
Tai-D' Journey :
Tai-D makes a brief appearance in Season 2, titled Legacy of the Green Ninja, as the Ninja arrive at the Lighthouse to find Dr. Julien. Hence the Ninja Team: Kai, Jay, Cole, Zane, Lloyd, Nya, Wu, and Misako all meet Tai-D. His appearance in Season 2 is minimal, serving tea and helping Dr.Julien, with Jay even attempting to tease him. Tai-D's interaction has a playful moment, where the robot humorously burns Jay as a form of self-defense. Moreover the scene while short, gives the robot a memorable moment with the Ninja Team.
Tai-D's Impact :
In Season 6, Skybound, Jay and Nya discover Tai-D and Echo Zane, while searching for refuge on Lighthouse Island. Whereas his role becomes more needed as Tai-D provides beneficial help, leading Jay and Nya to Echo Zane. In addition, he helps Jay and Nya hide from the Sky Pirates. The robot highlights the advanced technological capabilities within Ninjago. Ultimately, the scenes with him, emphasize his loyalty and capability, proving that even a small robot can make a impact.
