Background :
The Blizzard Samurai were the main enemy army in Ninjago, Season 11: Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu "Ice Chapter". They lived in the cold and snowy Never-Realm. The army was controlled by a villain called the Ice Emperor, who was actually Zane with no memories. General Vex was the true main villain; he tricked Zane into becoming the Emperor and creating the army. The Blizzard Samurai included: Blizzard Archers, Blizzard Sword Masters, and Blizzard Warriors.
Season 11, Ice Chapter Preview :
The Sword Masters and Archers were inhuman soldiers made entirely of ice. Blizzard Warriors were actually corrupted human warriors, transformed by Zane's Ice Powers. The army also included powerful Ice Creatures, such as the Dragon, Boreal and the Ice Behemoth. The Blizzard Samurai attacked the peaceful Ice Fishers village, where the Ninja: Kai, Nya, Jay, and Cole were staying. The Ninja fought the army to protect the villagers and their sacred "hearth-fire". Lloyd journeyed alone and was ambushed by the Samurai several times, but he escaped with help from a Wolf, Akita. Lloyd was eventually captured and brought to the Ice Emperor's castle, where he learned the Emperor's true identity. Inside the prison, Lloyd, the true King Grimfax, and the Formling Kataru formed a Resistance against the Blizzard Samurai and Vex. When Zane's memories returned, he destroyed his evil scepter, which freed the corrupted warriors and ended the Blizzard Samurai army's rule.
