LEGO Vermin Minifigure Background :
LEGO Vermin Minifigure, serves as a minor antagonist in Ninjago Season 7, the Hands of Time storyline. As a member of the Vermillion Army, he actively carries out the orders of the Time Twins, Acronix and Krux. Though not a main villain himself, Vermin executes his Commanders' (Machia, Blunck, & Raggmunk) orders with a Hive Mind inherited from, the Great Devourer.
LEGO Vermin Minifigure Appearance :
Vermin's appearance clearly indicate his Vermillion origins and status within the Army. He is a humanoid figure, but is actually a mass of small red and orange snakes held together by special armor forged by Ray and Maya. Vermin's minifigure features a dark gray and translucent red helmet with a double-sided head print. In addition, his minifigures have printed legs and a dark red and dark gray torso.
Vermin's Interactions :
Vermin encounters both allies and enemies throughout Season 7. He takes orders from his, Leaders the main antagonists Acronix and Krux, who ultimately manipulate and absorb all the Vermillion Snakes into the Iron Doom. The Vermillion Army members consits of: Raggmunk, Blunck, Machia, Slackjaw, Rivett, and Tannin. On the opposing side, Vermin frequently clashes with the Ninja Team: Kai, Nya, Jay, Cole, Zane, and Lloyd.
Vermin's Journey :
The ultimate fate of Vermin and the entire Vermillion Army sees them lost in time. After failing to stop the Ninja from retrieving one of the Time Blades, the Time Twins decide they no longer need their Army of individual snakes. Acronix and Krux telepathically command the Vermillion (with the Hive Mind) to merge into the giant Iron Doom Mech. During the final battle of Season 7, within Temporal Vortex, Wu, Kai, and Nya are fighting the Time Twins on the Iron Doom Machine. Realizing the Machine is about to pass the present time and wanting to prevent the Time Twins from escaping into the far future to plot more evil, Wu handed the Reversal Time Blade, to Kai and Nya which saves them. This effectively removes Vermin and the Vermillion from Ninjago's timeline, leaving their status as "lost in time" ending their direct threat to the Ninja and their allies.
