Luke's first major interaction has him working under Mr. E during the Borg Tower heist. Lloyd Garmadon confronts the infiltrating gang, catches Luke after Mr. E cuts a zipline to escape, and hands him over to the Ninjago Police. During his interrogation, he interacts with Cole and Zane; Cole accidentally drinks Truth Tea, leading to a humorous exchange where Luke asks him silly questions, inadvertently revealing the gang's hangout location through their conversation.

Following the Oni Invasion, he interacts with Lord Mogra, who frees him and other inmates from prison and recruits them into the Red Crows. Luke also interacts with other characters, including Dareth, who gives the Ninja tips on catching him, Kryptarium Prison Guards, and Two Moon Villagers. In a later story recounted by Ultra Violet, Luke and other Sons of Garmadon members are actively fighting Lloyd and Nya.
