Initially Griffin Turner's role in the Tournament of Elements places him as a rival to the Ninja, competing for the Jade Blades. However, his fun-loving and quick-thinking personality proves beneficial once he learns Master Chen's true intentions. As one of the first Elemental Masters to defend the Ninja, he transitions into an ally, helping to expose Chen. His speed lets him perform fast attacks, and summon his Elemental Speed Dragon to battle Chen's Fake Anacondrai.
Griffin Turner's Interactions :
Griffin Turner continues to play a role, within the Ninjago story, demonstrating his loyalty to the ninja and his allies. After Nadakhan captures and imprisons him in the Djinn Blade, Jay's final wish saves him. Under the oppressive rule of Lord Garmadon and the Sons of Garmadon, he joins the Resistance that Lloyd and Nya lead. During Season 8, the Sons of Garmadon capture and imprison him in Kryptarium Prison. After hearing the Ninja return, Griffin Turner, Karlof, and Ronin escape prison.
Griffin Turner's Journey :
Griffin Turner interacts with a variety of characters throughout his appearances. He first meets the Ninja; Lloyd, Kai, Jay, Zane, and Cole during the Tournament, in Season 4. Despite initially competing against them, he eventually becomes an ally. Additionally, the Elemental Masters Skylor, Karlof, Gravis, Ash, Jacob Pevsner, Bolobo, Chamille, Neuro, Shade, Tox, and Mr.Pale are in the Tournament of Elements. Notably, Skylor and him, both switch sides to aid the Ninja. During the Resistance against Lord Garmadon, Griffin, Karlof, and Shade recuse P.I.X.A.L., Dareth, and Misako. He fights antagonists including Master Chen and his Anacondrai Cultists, Nadakhan in an alternate timeline, and the Sons of Garmadon. The Anacondrai Cultists include, Chen, Clouse, Eyezor, Zugu, Krait, Sleven, Chope, and Kapau. Ultimately his interactions with these characters establish him as a reliable and persistent hero in the Ninjago.
